Hader And The Colonel

"Girl, I LOVE your freehand drawings. You-- of all people I've seen in comics -- come closest to merging writing with art. Your drawing is basically your handwriting. When (your characters) climb up on your skull and dig in, you draw what they want. The way that story unfolded, giving us as much about the Colonel as about Hader (more, now that I think about it), was just mind-blowing. It was like skydiving -- from way up, all you can see is blue and green haze, but as you head down the details fill in -- faster as you go! And a nice landing, too." Carla Speed McNeil -- FINDER

Hader and the Colonel is a picaresque tale of a hapless rabbit granted intelligence and hands by a meddling witch. To win full humanity, he must harvest body parts from a menagerie of hideous creatures, including the harpy who - impressed with his bravery - takes Hader under his wing. This reprint of the original collection includes new art, black and white and in color.
