James E. Couture Magazine Type Comic Black & White Page Count: 24 The first issue of "Over The Top Tales" has two great stories that live up to the name "Over The Top"--they' set in World War I! First, "The Beacon" tells the story of a young black man from the United States' 24th Infantry Regiment as he is thrust into action on the front lines of WWI, even before the U.S.' official involvement! Will Tyler Durham die for a country that won' even acknowledge his existence in combat? Then, "Into The Mud" tells the tale of another young soldier who sinks deep beneath the surface of the Ypres Salient in 1917. What emerges will horrify both you and him! "Over The Top Tales" brings you an anthology of horror, science fiction, and superhero stories from an array of origins, from the muddied fields of World War I to the distant future of tomorrow!
