Project: Archangel #1

Monsters are not real, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. For years we have fed the 'omnibus', literally our latent psychic abilities combined. We've fed it hopes and dreams but much more often, we've fed it with our fears. And now that combined power has become a dark pool, unwittingly commanded by unaware psychics across the globe to manifest our worst nightmares. Only one thing keeps us from eviscerating ourselves. Project: Archangel is a group of self-aware psychics, covert government agents who battle these nightmares-come-to-life. They are mankind's only line of defense against the monsters we unleash upon ourselves.

Aissa Niaga is anything but an average girl. she has always been a gifted Shaman of the Inuit Tribe of Alaska. Her people, skin-walkers themselves, have taught her to control her exceptional psychic talents, but they aren't the only ones who've noticed Aissa's power. Helix and the rest of Project: Archangel have come to recruit Aissa to the team. But can she comprehend the work that they do? Will she have the courage to face the monsters they'll show her? She has the strength but does she have the grit?
