I was a data thief. Sean was my partner and lover. We operated in the year 2098, a time when technology had given the world every possible type of pop culture and techie look you can imagine, from Goth to cyborg, but at the cost of displacing workers and fragmenting society. We were bold, calculating, and brazen. We sought only the most carefully guarded data and dared to break into the places where the servers were housed to keep it. We were successful. Then, Sean told me he had had enough. I still wanted to continue our life of crime, and I made him plan one more job. Just one more job… I didn't know then how much I would lose.
